A Fortune 500 company headquartered in the Southeastern United
States was having severe problems with curled slabs in their
warehouse. Forklift tires were being destroyed and inventory
damaged by the constant thumping of forklift traffic over the
raised edges at control joints. Because of our reputation as
experts with this type of repair, we were called to fix the
problems. Crews drilled small holes on either side of the joint
and injected a low viscosity chemical grout to stabilize and
underseal the curled slabs. The low viscosity grout fully penetrated
the voids before reacting to form a solid, closed-cell rigid
foam. As Barton crews worked, warehouse employees continued
on with business as usual. Our specialized process required
a very small work area and did not interfere with the facility
operations. Barton Southern crews were in and out in less than
a day, and the facility management was extremely pleased with
the results. |
