Our aging infrastructure is deteriorating. Facility owners are
looking for ways to extend the service life of their concrete
structures. In 2002, Congress and President Bush estimated that
the federal government would need to provide US$35 billion over
the next five years just to maintain existing water and wastewater
facilities. They also know that without immediate action, many
of these critical facilities will soon need to be replaced at
many times the current cost. |
